Our Story
Welcome! We are a couple passionate about exploring the United States and Canada by campervan. This blog is equal parts about cooking delicious meals and sharing reflections and stories from the road. We could not do this without our Airstream Interstate 19x.
Why We Travel
We have two generations of travelers before us. We have wished bon voyage to grandparents and parents as they embarked on cross country adventures in their RV’s. They have shown us how to get out there in the great outdoors and explore! We have always known our version needed to include winter trips, ski mountains, and the woods as well as the ability to go long hauls from Boston to Seattle so we can visit family. We chose a 2024 Airstream Interstate 19x with E1 package. The adventures started before we even left the dealership!
Cooking on the Road
The purpose of our travel is to experience the great outdoors, new perspectives, foods, and whatever Mother Nature throws our way. We share stories from the road along with meals, snacks, and recipes. We provide an authentic account of the triumphs and challenges we face, including eating healthy and getting exercise while traveling.
Sharing Recipes
Our blog is packed with stories and recipes. Food is one of life’s pleasures. There should be no compromise when it comes to traveling and eating well whether that means enjoying a cheese burger cooked on the open flame, or a cast iron pan filled to the brim with grilled vegetables and couscous. We report on regional discoveries and easy go to comfort foods, We love learning by doing and sharing tips related to cooking in small spaces and in the great outdoors. We hope our adventures with a culinary vibe inspire you to get outside, eat and drink well, and enjoy the season!
